What is the All-American?
The United States Women's Curling Association All-American Bonspiel is an annual national event, designed to celebrate women's curling. This bonspiel will be a combined event with Colonial and Petersham Curling Clubs.
When is it?
Thursday, December 10 - Saturday, December 12. Thursday and Friday draws will be at 6:00pm and 8:15pm with game assignments scheduled in advance. Saturday draws will be at 9:00am and 11:30am with assignments based on points.
Do I have to be a woman to play?
No. Per the All-American rules, women (including transgender and gender nonconforming players) who sign up will have priority and only women can play vice or skip. Men are encouraged to sign up to help fill in the front-end spots if needed.
Who will be on my team?
Teams will be created by the Event Coordinator and may consist of both Colonial and Petersham Club members. Requests made by a spouse or roommate can be accommodated for traveling purposes. We hope that curlers will enjoy a social weekend of playing with new people and perhaps making some new friends, too.
